Homebrew [Q] Will MenuHax or BrowserHax be updated to 10.7 anywhere in the Future?

Basically the question in the Title. Why? Because i don't want to buy Games that i wouldn't normally play, and as i'm going on vacation tomorrow for 4 weeks, it wouldn't really make sense to buy something now.

Well, basically i wanna know if anyone has a 100% confirmation that it won't happen. If not, well then we'll see.

Unless yellows8 figures out some insane method of homebrew-bootable theme compression, we probably won't see menuhax ever again. Browserhax is likely, but Nintendo keeps patching the browser, so...

Maybe yes. Browserhax has a relatively higher chance of coming up than menuhax, because its webkit, and vulns come up all the time. Menuhax..... Might come.

I'm more interested in knowing if Ocarina of Time will remain a valid entry point for homebrew. Is there a way for Nintendo to seal that off for good? They must think so if they didn't bother to patch the re-release.

The fate of our Nintendo 3ds are on the hands of two people and since they got their own lifes and problems we have to wait for them to have the time to deal with this troublesome problem of browserhax and menuhax being blocked, so for us that don't have cubic Ninja or ocarina of time those two our are only hope!! Tried smashhax by the way stuck at sending packages at 73.. Didn't work for me.. I waited three months to finally downgrade my n3ds XL and only lasted me three days since my kid upgraded by accident My 3ds without my knowledge... Sigh...I can downgrade but can't acces home brew to do it!!! I'm being tortured!!! Yellows8 and smea if you read this we are counting on you !!!

Just use Ninjhax or OOThax. Another reason the probability for a new Browserhax is small is because few people are interested on it, there are already alternatives, and most people already downgraded.

If you dont want to speed $100+ on cubic ninja or.... $20(bestbuy, target, gamestop, hell even ebay) for OOT and a powersaves for like $20... Then get the $80 new sky3ds and emulate cubic ninja. I highly doubt browserhax or menuhax will be back any time soon. I dont see a point in updating it to work if it would just be patched out in a few months. Its like jail breaking an iPhone, yes its cool to have it for every single update that comes out, but doing so ruins exploits that could be used way later for possible better solutions.

OoT is 20 dollars on Gamestop, is pretty cheap, I have A9LH but buy it to do some downgrade services.

Well unfortunately a huge number of potential webkit vulnerabilities were patched in 10.7, Leaving Yellows8 with not a lot to work with in regards to the next browserhax.

Sadly it really is just a case of wait and see, the advancements over the past couple of months have been monumental so I would rule out nothing

I know my friend but its practically impossible to find cubic ninja since prices has skyrocket and in the ocarina of Timehax needs home brew to do the powersaves and Gamestop store left my country so my only hope is smashhax wich I tried for 4 days with no results even using the smashhax helper and the smashhax ez and even compiling it myself following instruction it didn't work.... My hopes are on browserhax its the only thing I need acces to home brew the system updater is already in SD and the updates and the starter pack for home brew all waiting for me and I just can't get there... Oh and I can't afford the 80 dollar sky3ds +..

Put aside $20/week and you could have it in a month. It's not that hard. Just trim off anything unnecessary from your expenses. Do you buy lunch instead of bringing it from home? Switch to sandwiches. Do you buy coffee while out? Give it up for a short time. Do you smoke or drink? Quit. Do you go to the movies? Don't. Before you know it, you'll be able to afford a Sky3DS. If you don't want to give these things up, you don't want to exploit your console that badly. If you have no unnecessary expenses to trim, then you have more serious issues to deal with and should probably sell your console to pay for living expenses.
Remember you can always sell the Sky3DS when you're done using it to downgrade.
