Thanks to all beta testers, version 1.0 Release Candidate 1 is now available.

Features:

- Infinite number of puzzles: all levels are generated on the fly. You’ll never play the same puzzle again.

- 6 different games are included : Bridges, Dominosa, LightUp (aka. Akari), Mines, Pattern (aka. Picross) and Tents.

- A daily contest between all wifi-connected players is available. Download and play everyday a new puzzle, and compare your score to other players. The 10 best scores of this Daily Challenge are visible everyday.

- High scores for each game are saved locally (you should patch it with DLDI to make it work). Moreover, if you go to screen “hi-scores”, select a game and click on “send scores”, all scores will be transmitted to PuzzleManiak’s website through wifi. The 10 best scores for each game/level are visible on the website.

PuzzleManiak is a partial port of the Simon Tatham’s Portable Puzzle Collection on Nintendo DS.

I’m proud to announce to you that version 1.0 Release Candidate 1.0 is now available for download for everybody.
You’ve to patch it with DLDI to make work the high scores.

Why is this an awesome homebrew (my biased opinion here folks).
There is Japanese Akari
http://www.hudson.co.jp/puzzle/akari/
0923 - Puzzle Series Volume 12 - Akari
which has 300 puzzles to do. I'm at around 160 myself.

But PuzzleManiak LightUp game (same as Akari) has unlimited random puzzles that are generate on-the-fly with you choosing 7x7, 10x10, 14x14 size and a difficulty level of easy, medium, or hard.

Bridges is my 2nd favorite game after this as has not yet been put on the Nintendo DS
http://www.nikoli.co.jp/en/puzzles/hashiwokakero/

Also is Tents, Mines (minesweeper) and Pattern (Picross).

In the computer puzzle collection they also have slitherlink but one would hard pressed to do better than the interface of the official slitherlink title
0678 - Puzzle Series Volume 5 - Slither Link
http://www.hudson.co.jp/puzzle/slitherlink/

Anyway this is one of my favorite homebrews for sure.
