I know there is a puzzle fighter for gba, but is there one that can be played on the DS?
I've got an R4DS and from what i've read i would need a gba backup cart in order to emulate gba games. Is there no way I can play Puzzle Fighter GBA on my DS? If not the GBA version is there another that I could play on the DS?

Theres no official game, and no way to play GBA titles on a slot 1. Its also not possible to emulate it on any of the other consoles it appeared on either.

I think the closest would be the Puzzle Fighter clone in the Ultimate Mortal Kombat port thats due later in the year.

My advice would be to get a cheap slot-2 device.

For now you can try the various tetris attack homebrew or maybe even panel de pon (planet puzzle league).
PSP has capcom puzzle collection with puzzle fighter, punks =P.
