Hacking put G6 Lite internals into original filler cart?

i recently got my ice blue (

) ds lite, and i got one of the first batches of G6 Lite so it only came with a white case. so i was sondering if there was anyone that has succesfully put the intenals of a G6 Lite into the original dust cart that came with the DS Lite.

just open both cartridges and take a look, you can see it will fit, but you need to scrape alot plastic away, so you can easily screw up your filler cart.

where are you from?

i would just search a g6lite ice blue cardridge.. there will be many people who dont need their.. for example me ; )

the screw is too small for the OG dust cover, it doesnt screw in

i think a little bit of drimmle is in order to get the screw to fit, the guy in the picture used the dust cover top and the G6 lite bottom, because when plugged in you'll only see the dust cover top colors. I don't see why you cant use that post as a guide, it doesnt seem too hard to do.
