Hardware Psvita won't turn on, no safe mode either

I charged my vita from dead battery and now it won't turn on it will either show a blue light for a long period (no sound) or just flash blue, attempts to enter safe mode result in the system turning on and then off (nothing on the display)

I have had it for multiple years and had no problems with it in the past. Never had any insane gaming sessions or anything like that with it.

Nope it just turns on most of the time to a blue light and any attempts to boot in safe mode turn the whole thing off

For how long did you let it charge before trying to start it? If there is not enough power in the battery the console will refuse to start even if you have the charver plugged in.
