Hacking Homebrew PSP Slim 3.60 firmw are downgrade

I just bought a PSP Slim with th 3.60 firmware version on it. I don't know much about downgrading the firmware and the only things I've read about it are that you need an old psp to downgrade it (something with the battery). Is there another way to do it, since I'm not in posession of an old PSP?

you will need someone with a pandora's battery setup to be able to hack the slim with the m33 custom firmware
i did thug4l1f3's yesterday and it was so easy to do
in fact it was that easy i'm willing to flash anyone's psp for free as long as they pay postage both ways

He's in the UK though, so it would probably cost you more to ship it than it would to buy a Datel Tool battery.
