Hacking PSP rebooting after installing cwcheat

did a search, didnt find an answer to my specific problem. i have cfw 6.60 pro-c on a psp go. i downloaded this: http://www.pspcwcode.com/2014/07/cwcheat-v023.html

and followed the instructions given there to install cwcheat. i enable them in recovery menu, but now when i start a game, it does the load up screen and then psp reboots. if i disable cwcheat, games work fine. anyone know what the problem can be? please help, been looking everywhere for an answer and no one knows what it is.

Maybe the cheat itself is crashing the PSP. Try a different cheat.

You misunderstand, the game won't even load

Chances are the plugin is not compatible with 6.60, as the plugin from your download link is from <=2014 and I think, not sure, the pro-c or 6.60 me were released later.
Had a similar problem with 6.60 me, I think there is a compatible version floating around, you can combine the important words i've mentioned in your google search, don't have time to do that for you.
