Could the PSP then have a increase in sales in the US and Europe??

lol that's a coincidence. I recently gained interest in it too. Probably because of FF7:Crisis Core.

And ? The DS outsold the PS2 so no fuss about it. Makes me happy for you, but the PSP still is too "multifunctional" for me currently cause a gaming system is enough for me. But the emulation scene... hmmm.

But it is true the PSP got some exclusives lateley...

Yep.. that was caused by Monster Hunter.. I think they were selling a bundle with the game + a special edition PSP

Still.. that's a impressive number, it sold more than Brawl in the first week.. Monster Hunter 3 is coming to the Wii later this year btw..

So having more features is a downer for you? Makes sense.

Well it definitely appears to be a downer when it comes to sales.

So having more features is the reason the PSP isn't selling as well as the DS and not price, game selection, or some other more plausible factor? Makes sense.

I feel sad because I missed out such a good deal for a PSP.

For $50, this guy was selling a Silver Slim PSP hardly ever used with 4GB memory stick. That saves me like $250 or more.

Is Monster Hunter even a good game? It seems that the game really did help boost the PSP sale along with Crisis Core but is it just another case of hype?

The Monster Hunter games are really popular ... I enjoy them ... I don't know if you would, cos I'm not you lol

Crisis Core would have sold no matter what, wouldn't it? An FF7 prequel was an automatic hit, no contest, but the MH games have sold them sleves continually, since the first one, on the PS2.

Mainly for their online play, I believe.

The PSP has a LONG way to go to catch up tp the DS -> they'll need to do at least as well for a few years to catch up at that rate.

Also, it'd really help if the PSP actually had some worthwhile native games. Most of my interest in it is purely for emulation PSX and older consoles, and NOT the native games.
