Hey guys, i've been searching for a good rpg but it seems that there are a lot of good rpg games that never made it to the US. I've been wondering if there are any rpg that have been translated (to english ofc) that haven't made it to the US.

So you're looking for a fan translation of a jrpg?

IMO, you're better off with a professional localization company like XSEED. Check out Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky.

Tried it, found that it was a bit dull for my liking. It seems that we're missing out on A LOT of good rpgs, i guess it's time i got rosetta stone an learn some japanese.

Well, Ys Seven is an excellent XSEED game, and the Ys games had a really hard time coming to America for the longest time. Wasn't until the last decade that the games became readily available to western audiences after the series had been around for over 10 years before.

A couple Tales games were translated, but they're pretty meh in my opinion.

Most JRPG's don't make it out of Japan though, and even fewer have released on the PSP in English due to the fact that they're only really popular in Japan. Damn economic trends.
