yeah thats the right battery but if you have a slim don't try to close the battery cover or you'll break it also I'm not sure about how cheap and 4gb pro duo is for US cause I'm UK and I bought something completely different (which reminds me its still in the darn post) however that one you found looks cheap enough

Does anyone know if that card is able to be turned into MMS?
And is the double ram on the slim noticeable when booting isos?

yes it can be turned into a magic memory stick
when you load up a iso there is no loading time like there is for the ds
it loads up like any other psp umd disk

Some people have struggled making a 4gb into a MAGIC MEM STICK you may want to grab a 1gb too and keep it setup to mod your PSP once you have done it

DX also sell 4gb and a Pandora for $17.20 here but I would still recommend getting a 1gb card purely for just modding

1gb pro duo for $5.90

That way you don't have to keep remaking it every time you wish to flash!

So I can set a 1GB up to be a MMS and have a 4GB just for isos?

yes you can... just make sure the one u r using as MMS is an original one or it won't work... the other one can be any... btw... i modded my psp about a week ago... and i already have my 8GB full... soo... but i guess 4GB is enough

... my brother uses a 2GB... take in mind an iso is about 1GB... and CSO compression hasn't taken much space at least with the games i own so i just left them in ISO...

Original? What do you mean by that?
I was going to look into:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...16820191427 (forMMS)
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...16820171130(for storing games)
If I'm going to order from DX(or any site, including newegg) I need a card that can be made into MMS and another one that is 4GB and has a good read/write speed.

Wait could I just use
http://www.pspmod.com/shop/product_info.ph.../products_id/30
OR
http://www.pspmod.com/shop/product_info.ph.../products_id/33
and a pandora to hack?
With a random 4GB for games?

AFAIK ....It does not have to be a genuine one for it to work just less than 4gb

I just got the 2gb bundle from DX (card and pandora) and it worked great!

maby get the 2gb Bundle and buy a 4gb separate

DX are out of stock of 8gb and 16gb at the minute ...a sister/similar store has them in ... (focalprice.com)

I had a girlfriend who had a twin sister and they would mess with me constantly.... Until one chipped a tooth then finally I could tell them apart.... Lol

They would have the same hair style the same clothes everything... Really messed with my head lol

@The Real Jdbye, I could see AMD trying to pull off the CPU GPU tandem thing, would be a way to maybe close the gap a bit with Nvidia. Plus it would kinda put Nvidia at a future disadvantage since Nvidia can't make X86/64 CPUs? Intel and AMD licensing issues... I wonder how much that has held back innovation.
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
i don't think nvidia wants to get in the x64 cpu market anyways

you've seen how much intel is struggling getting into the gpu market

and nvidia is already doing ARM

i don't think they want to take more focus away from their gpus

Yeah I think Nvidia s future lays in AI GPU acceleration stuff if they can get that going it's going to be super interesting in the long term

AI assisted game creation might become a thing

At least that's something I think would be pretty cool.

  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
@Psionic Roshambo AI assisted game creation is kinda already here, there was recently that AI that can turn any 2D image into a fully modeled 3D object, it's not perfect, but it's a starting point, beats starting from zero

before that there was one to generate a fully modeled scene from a 2D image

  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
but most recently, there was one that actually generates a working unity scene with terrain and textures already set up that you can import right into unity, that's a huge time saver right there
