Hi. I believe you came here, like me, to find a way to open files that are present in PSP games but have no idea where to find certain programs to open or extract the following:
1. .wad (not Doom or Wii)
2. .zsm
3. .zss
4. .dat (not the one you're thinking...)
5. .arc (doesn't work with archive related programs....)
6. .r4m
7. .r4s
8. .ast
9. .abk
10. .fev
11. .fsb
12. .psp (opening those using Photoshop didn't work...)
13. .prx (not the PSP plugin files...)
14. .res
15. .bin (like the ones in Ape Escape - Academy)
16. .pak (just like .arc)
17. .mif (what is that...?)
18. .bkg
19. .rcf
20. .pkg (the PSP version inside the game's ISO)
21. .vag.gz (same (?) as .arc)
22. .gob
23. .LMP
24. .tex
25. .vat
26. .blt (like the one in Marvel Super Hero Squad)
27. .jps (whatever that is...)
28. .mst
If there is a file you were looking for but isn't in this huge list (can't imagine why), then you might as well wait until I find more... See, ALL of the above were hard to open and/ or extract. I tried looking EVERYWHERE and nothing helped me. I even looked up the games' gamerips (since I originally did this just for the music...) but there was none..... Please, I need your help by finding a way to open/ extract each and every single one of these files. Let me know if you have the solution to each, thank you.
