Hopefully they have prepaid subscription cards like with Live because I use the JP PSN and really want and can afford the access to all those goodies.

$70 is ridiculously expensive.. especially when you have to chose between the features. T_T Why not offer one service for like $80 or $90 that has EVERYTHING Sony... why make it more complicated then it has to be.

Some of those features look good. I wouldn't want to pay access to beta games though. Game companies should be paying beta testers to test games, not the other way around. [IMG]

In Australia, I can see it being a similar rpice to Xbox Live which is decent. Buy about 7 PS1 games and you have gotten your money back.

I don't see the use in many of these features... I do like vidzone though which is that music video thing, but that's free now! are they gonna remove it and charge for it? That's BS!

Yeah right, XBL has a headstart. Everybody who doesn't play on XBL, always moans: "You have to pay for it, no way I'm gonna dot that." But if you buy your subscription via ebay or so, it only costs 2,50 per month. And I'm sorry Sony fanboys, XBL just is smoother and more advanced than PSN.

I would pay for this, at least Sony is still giving PSN for free for those who can't pay.
XBL can go stuff it [IMG]

Just because they can, doesn't mean they should. If you pay for Live, you are simply allowing a company to rape you to play the games you own online. This rape is not available on the PS3 and never will be, since online gaming will be free. If you are into getting raped, then enjoy it, because i am sure there is a team in washington thinking up ways to rape you even further.

Well, this service would be completely optional, and the benefits would outweigh the costs.

$6-$9 a month isn't too shabby for the PSX games + other download-only content alone. PSX games are how much on the PSN? I'll guess $10? And if you're paying even $9 and get at least one PSX game per month, that's still saving you cash. Not to mention the PSN games and Minis. You also get online storage space via Cloud, TV show access from Hulu and the like, etc etc.

And as I said earlier, it's completely optional. You could still enjoy your current PSN ways right now without payment.
