The sugar of life that doesn't translate to text very well.

It is, the Arm9 in the 3DS actually slows down to the GBA's speed. It's similar how it works, but its not the same. It's not a VM either.

Before and after video? Link to project? Something? Like this really doesn't warrant a "PSA" if you are just making such a simple statement and nothing else.
Also is there really a point to using mGBA over VC injection?

There's a link on the second page. But here it is: https://s3.amazonaws.com/mgba/mGBA-build-latest-3ds.7z

Well that more like a suggestion for the original post. If you are going to make a "PSA" you should include everything in the OP so users don't have to search through the thread in order find everything.

I mean. Go to the mGBA website. Click downloads. Download the latest nightly. Is that to difficult for you?

It's useful info. I wasn't aware this was still being developed.

Of course not, I am just trying to help you make better thread to help the users. Sorry if I came off rather rude, that was not my intention.

I've always remembered mgba to be fullspeed for a selection of games except the intensive games, on the New 3DS of course. FF 1-6 still struggle to run and the golden sun games. I never saw any noticeable changes as I've been using the dev builds before this post not too long ago. It's not news that mgba could run certain games full speed.
This is an emulator I could appreciate because I'm having SD card issues where GBA games will result in an exception error when I launch them from VC.

No, it did get a big performance bump from the stable to the nightly. Run them both. You'll see.

Main one that comes to mind is that tilt-sensor games don't work as VC injects. mGBA can, I believe, read from the 3DS accelerometer.

Yes, Warioware Twisted works in mGBA. It runs at 50-60fps.

Do you have another SD card you can try out?

Do you know if that's planned?

Does it run better with N3DS speed improvements or unstable with them?

Probably isn't formated to a 32KB cluster size.

Runs better in n3DS mode, completely stable.

Fair enough, also what games have you tested that run full speed?

It didn't really make any new games run full speed. It just made them playable. Like Yoshi's Island and Warioware Twisted now hover between 50-60fps. These used to run at half that speed.

Even so, it's a helluva an improvement, hopefully it's a sign of things to come :P
