Thank you for the reply! One more thing, I understand that installing reinand is super easy:
So I'm thinking of doing this - put all the files in their respective positions and add an entry on my ctrbootmanager for reinand (while keeping rxtools boot option)

If I choose reinand to boot on my n3ds 9.5 emunand (currently rxtools) will it mess up the emunand since I used rxtools on it first?
Also if that works, then could I just go to system updates and update normally?

I feel like this isn't a big deal to emuNAND users. If you can downgrade, just downgrade, install CFW and call it a day.

There's no reason to not update an emuNAND. But you still need to install a CFW of course.

Are you talking about SysNand or Emunand? If you're talking about SysNand (Assuming you are since you're bringing up 10.3), downgrade and get a emunand. If you're talking about Emunand, then just update to the latest and you wouldn't have to worry about this.

because even leaving 10.3 if you're not downgrading is not a good idea due to Nintendo "attempting" to do some exploit mitigation, such as limited address randomization on 10.4 eShop.

ya i have the nver changed so i can get on the eshop. what part of the fw does the cver change? i would assume the 10.3 part.
