v7.0.0-200 IS NOW LIVE ON NINTENDO SERVERS - SO PLEASE DO NOT UPDATE!

Switch_Update_700.jpg

Like what occurred with previous big 'N' update v6.20, they have again changed the TSEC firmware setup, blocked the previous 'smmuhax' exploit, and of course as usual added new 'Master Keys', and this time around they stopped 'package1 decryption, but now with v7.0.0-200 from Nintendo its really an 'cat & mouse' game, as already new 'keys have been found' less than a few hours after the update finally went live, but still if you wish to fully enjoy your Switch like Karen is doing so, then please stay for now on v6.2.0 and DO NOT UPDATE to v7.0.0 until you see the Official OK on the TX Front Page! :)

So for now please stay on v6.2.0 and to enjoy your Switch fully! :)

Nintendo already stated a firmware update is coming last week.

They adding:

* Chinese
* Korean

For system languages and for Online they are:

* Renaming the eShop to Nintendo Switch Online Shop - No more Nintendo WiiU it shutsdown at end of month
* Expanding the online regions with many more areas added including of course China and South Korean.

For other changes, we don't know yet, as 'system stability' could be nothing at all, but its best to play it safe.

At 5:50pm Pacific time the Online network is going down, and when it returns at 8pm the firmware should be live.

For Nintendo it is two day job, so if they do not release the firmware tonight, they will do so tomorrow, they also shutting down Online network again tomorrow during the same hours.

Finally on Wed. night after 9pm they are removing all the Wii U stuff, so if you need something there, grab it now before it goes away forever! :)

The Wii U eShop is not shutting down at the end of the month. Please separate the stuff you are leaking from the Dev Center from your idiotic commentary.

And, NO, you nimrod, they are not 'removing' all the Wii U games THEY ARE STILL CURRENTLY SELLING IN THE STORE from the CDN. Stop with your nonsense, we've all had enough.

I remind you that the last time you claimed stuff about a system update outside of you copy and paste from developer release notes, you were completely and utterly wrong. I dragged you publicly. This will happen yet again.

Wait, Wii U eShop is closing this week then? Highly doubt they'd give a couple days warning when they gave over a year's notice for the Wii's shop...

Reputable source = proof.

The update is real (though the date may not come to pass) but Gary is not a reputable source. See his completely bullshit claims here: https://gbatemp.net/threads/bigbluebox-says-all-the-other-nsps-are-wrong.515145/page-7#post-8233723 and here too https://gbatemp.net/threads/bigbluebox-says-all-the-other-nsps-are-wrong.515145/page-4#post-8222283 aaaaaand here https://gbatemp.net/threads/bigbluebox-says-all-the-other-nsps-are-wrong.515145/page-7#post-8233638

The biggest one is this: https://gbatemp.net/goto/post?id=8233512#post-8233512. Just absolute nonsense, pulled out of his ass.

I also recommend reading my detailed dragging of him on the next page and later in the thread.
