Were you able to downgrade succesfully using this method on a New 3DS/Old 3DS?

for me it was like this:

9.8 to 9.2 = success with issue.
then
9.2 to 9.2 = no issues.

i think there was some failed installation in the downgrade process.
Yeah but this issues can be random I think, as my failed attempt bricked the browser and system menu so I had no way to launch browserhax and try and downgrade again. I think from anything other then 10.3 has a risk of softbricking and its random what parts of the system bricks in the process. I think I seen post of people even hard bricking.

This thread will be helpful for some users.

Like me, I've just buyed and tried downgrading my N3DS from 9.6 to 9.2 with SafeSysUpdater and got a soft-brick (maybe was just menuhax fuckin-shit-up, but well, we will never know).

After that a friend of mine asked me to try on his N3DS, it was on 10.3, so I've formated, formated the SD, setup browserHax to setup MenuHax.

Then I've used SafeSysUpdater only to CHECK the 9.2 files. Then tried downgrading with SysUpdater, for come reason SysUpdater didn't started (tried 15 times or more), after that I've decided using SafeSysUpdater and everything worked well.

Well, always format the console, even if it's new, my console was new and I got a self-brick.
