Oct 8th 2024: BD-JB + Kernel works on 7.61 thanks to user Hammer.

1: Never enable IDU mode.
If you do you will need to enter staff mode by holding L1 + L2 and tapping this combo: circle, cross, square, triangle, right D-Pad. Release L1 + L2 and you can access settings to exit IDU.

2: Try to stay on the lowest FW possible and wait it out for hacks on that firmware.

3: PS5 FPKGs cannot work as a hack for the a53 processor does not publicly exist to enable PS5 content as FPKG/PKG.

4: Installing legit game PKGs you do not own will not work, even if spoofed.

5: If you get stuck in a boot loop at the PS logo, this means the SNVS is corrupted (if hash check fails on boot this causes a “soft brick”).

It’s not “bricked”, just reinstall your current firmware RECOVERY PUP in safe mode!

Those above 3.55 isn't cfw they are hen.
So really has nothing to do with cfw.
Any system that has minimum ofw 3.55 and some 3.56 can be exploited to install cfw and require no hardware now.

For example, the latest version of ps5 xplorer (v1.02) waits for etaHEN to allow root, then fails.
However John Tornblom's ftpsrv allows root with hvHEN.

Normally it takes 1-3 Months after production to get to us. If you buy one now, you will most likely get one on FW 9.xx
In 1-2 months it is slowly going to get harder to find a pro on 9.xx

The Nr.1 after S01-x stands for the first revision of PS5 Pro CFI-70xx

2 will be for the second revsion CFI-71xx

Didn't see any diference, only retail games benefited, even linux runs better on a base/slim ps4 since we don't have the drivers or kernel that can utilise that extra power. Ps5 might be a different case or might be the same so think before spending so much money

Both lua and the kernel exploit will work up to 7.61, providing you already have a lua compatible game on <8.00 firmware.
