HAHA, funny enough I just got a digital ver PS5 in today. The HDMI choke filters are same dimension as the disc one.

FYI, recently I replaced a couple of PS5's HDMI port, same port bought from same supplier but after replacement, the port/cable become quite sensitive from swinging or touching,signal lost and came back on. Double, triple checked on the soldering work, all perfect. If you dont do anything to the cable connecting, if works just fine. No idea why this start happening.

Hm. That is weird. Usually what I do is check every pin with precision tweezers under a microscope to see if there's any movement. If it still has the problem I switch out the port.

How important is that capacitor? Unfortunately, while cleaning the pads I accidentally made the one on the board disappear. Now, I’m getting a signal, but my tv says “invalid format.” Would that be because the capacitor isn’t there?

Thanks for sharing the information. My PS5 keeps flashing the image after changing the HDMI output, I tested all lines and the only one that made a difference was line 18, with 0.738 where it should be with 0.542. Any suggestions please?

Hey mate, did you find any solution? My PS5 1200 does the exact same thing. I changed a destroyed port with a new one and the TV keeps losing the hdmi signal every couple seconds.
When I remove and reattach the hdmi cable, it stays stable for a while. But each restart the same thing...

Any suggestions?

Hey man, on my PS5 it simply works after I cleaned the PCB next to the replaced HDMI connector. Working normally so far. In my case it was flux residue, or cold solder because I dried this entire part with a hot air gun. Maybe this can help you!

Ok, thanks. Although I cleaned everything with IPA, there is still some left unter the port. I might try to clean that too.
