Since the hard drive is removable I don't see why most people just swap out that 500GB for a 2TB Seagate for less than a $100. Plus you can throw that 500GB into the Seagate enclosure so there is no wasting it.

I'm not sure about the Slim or Pro but a monkey can easily take out that HDD on the Phat PS4. Literally just slide the cover off and remove one screw. No decapitation needed.

Ok but are we ever going to get an option for different kinds of views for folders and such?

Even if it was just a table view like in the Library option I'd be happy, I'm not exactly a big fan of the infinite Horizontal list, 99% of my games owned are Digital, and having to scroll all the way to the right to find a game is rather inconvenient.

    No ps4 never had external.
The internal is an easy swap. Push cover and 1 screw.

While the xboxb doesnt allow internal upgrade. So they came with default external storage.

This does happen to be a little to late for me.
    I got a 2tb swap inside the ps4.
Then use the ps4 50gb to go external on my xbox one.

alright! as of this update almost every problem i had with the ps4 will be fixed. if we could just get backwards compatibility i will have faith in Sony as a console manufacturer again.

ps4 pro is also getting a boost mode to "fix" framerates on unpatched ps4 games, not that i would personally care becaus ei don't evne have aps4, but it's helpful for those who got the ps4 pro
