Hardware PS4 issues and glitches?

Hey there, guys. It's been some time since i was visiting these forums. But here i am again looking for info on new technology.

This is about the Sony Playstation 4, of course. I ran some search terms on the forums but found nothing either because PS4 is just too short and no one writes playstation4 - i wrote both so searches can lead here, eventually.

Anyway, I've saw a few info on the glitches the PS4 had at launch date. I want to make sure about its bad behaviors because my plan is to buy one this month. No rush, i've waited nearly what, six months? Just don't want to get a slim version anymore.

Also, i was surprised that the very tutorials and faqs area for the PS4 didn't have any topic with some gathered documentation on what kind of issues it can have to help people identify the, quickly.

In the beginning, there were some hardware issues with the PS4 involving the HDMI port. This has since been fixed, and at this point there are little to no major bugs or issues with the PS4 that I've heard of.

That said, there are of course various small software bugs and such just as there are with any console, but nothing that will kill your system. I've had my PS4 since launch, and the only issues I've had involved games that would crash every now and again, which hasn't happened for a while now...

Well, i guess no news here is good news then? Hoping that i still can buy it for the price i heard two months ago, if not cheaper... And maybe wait a LOT for the games. Still not sure what to get first on it. Was really just concerned about getting one and running into one of the console-killing bugs from launch.
