Gaming PS3 swapping Hard drive to another PS3 just to Updated its OFW

hi,
i have two PS3 Slim models one is working and one is stuck on Update error
8002F1F9 Error CODE

is just want to ask if i can swap the harddrive on Not Working PS3 and put it to the Working PS3 and update its harddrive Normally and put the PS3 back to Not working one...
has anybody done this before?

for the Not Working PS3 that has a Error code 8002F1F2
i use the recovery mode and updated that Harddrive to 4.85 but get stuck to the error code

i just want to know how to bypass this error code? without fixing the Wifi or BluDrive..
