PS1/2 PS3 HELP!!! (urgent)

So I was messing around with the display on my PS3. The last things I remember doing are setting it up with the component cables (red, yellow, and white) and setting the resolution to 1080P. Basically, the screen is completely black, the system is still on and I can still hear sound, but with no picture. I was wondering if anyone could guide me to setting it back up to the default setting. If someone could count how many times I would have to press certain buttons it would be most greatly appreciated!! And yes, I am dumb. Thank you.

hold the power button down for about 5 secs on startup
it should beep 2 times and the video settings will reset
