Hardware Ps3 FAT 80Gb Power Issues

Hi y'all!
So I repair consoles for a local pawnshop. I am not an expert but I can change a Housing or a screen and clean the consoles etc. I was given a PS3 80gb FAT that was formatted after they bought it. And after that it won't power on.
It goes like this. I plug in the power cable->Red light comes on as normal->I press power button and it beeps but it doesn't even finish beeping and light goes green and blank in less than a second.

Anyone ever encounter this problem? I have been looking and I can't find anyone with this issue.

You have tried compressed air to clean the unit, right? And how far have you dug into the unit? Typically, a short somewhere will cause that.
