A while ago, Sony announced that they'd offer a deal for PS3 owners transitioning to the PS4 to buy multiplatform titles on both systems for a discounted price. Now that deal, and its details, have been unveiled.

For the four cross platform titles, Call of Duty: Ghosts, Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag, Watch Dogs, and Battlefield 4, you may get a PS4 copy with the PS3 version for $10. To do this, the PS3 versions of the game will come with a redemption code. You then insert the PS3 disc into your Playstation 4 (note: this does not mean it's backwards compatible so don't be a shitnerd) and enter the code to receive the PS4 version for only $10.

So if you're a PS3 owner who wants to play the next generation versions of it but also wants to enjoy the current generation versions, here's your chance.

This sounds pretty decent. Reminds me of the UMD conversion we never saw :)

Oh yeah, I saw the Battlefield deal and that made my decision about buying that game much easier.

So it's the same policy Microsoft is offering for 360-One conversion.
Neat, it's a good deal for both platforms~

It may be affordable, but it's not reasonable. You shouldn't have to pay twice for one game in the "you're not buying a game just the license to play it" mentality.

So if I buy the digital version I can play both versions of the game at the same time if I wanted?
