Hardware PS2-> GCN/Wii Adapters and Guitar Hero

If I get x or y controller adapter, will I be able to use my guitar hero controller for like rock band 2 wii and stuff?

no. those adapters make your ps2 controller look like a GC / classic controller. you cannot play guitar hero Wii with a gamecube controller can you? so you cannot play them with a gamecube guitar hero controller.
