is it posssible to downlaod rom/iso for ps2 then burn to disk and play?

if so what should i use to download internet site or torrent? and after i download do i put it on disk then burn?

Yes.

Download the .iso file from wherever, then burn it to a DVD-R/DVD+R with IMGburn at 4x speed
