I bought "Blaze PS2 Region Free Disc" to watch R1 and R4 DVDs I bought but the image freezes and so it's worthless to use this method.

As I trust GBATemp by any chance is there someone here who could do the McBoot thing on my PS2 64mb memory card? I'll pay the shipping both ways of course.

Oh well nvm, I've found a Bush DVD player that is serviceable, plays DVDs of any region.
