I never really saw sharing handhelds as a thing people actually do, so I don't see an issue.
I don't see how bad this is. Sure, you'd have to import hard copies of foreign games, but better than not being able to play foreign games at all (I'm looking at you, 3ds).
Ah well at least we can play foreign games if we buy the hard copy.
Makes sense. Wasn't the PSP like this?
I swear it was.
I find a portable system like the Vita to be a personal device, so having only one PSN account tied to it doesn't bother me.
well just great having to reset the Vita every time to use another account
Huh? What are you talking about?
i never have any idea what you are saying lol
Why is this bad? When i have a handheld, its mine... I can understand a 360 or whatever having multiple accounts, but handhelds, this is fine.
Well this will be "fun" T_T if this means that I wont be able to get any DLC for my imports...
This shouldn't really be a problem to anyone unless they want to download demos and stuff from other countries.
I wonder if it would be possible to download the content to the ps3 and just transfer it over to the vita to bypass this.
Nothing, as usual. I'm pretty sure he just slams his head on his keyboard and presses Post at random.
next time read the original post person that made it could have fix it Genius
It's like they take every measures for the Vita to fail.
Oh let me just get my DLC for my import game, oh no! I have to format my system just to redeem my japanese vouchers, dam Sony!
you gotta love Sony and their draconian measures, its sad to see people still buying their products after everything Sony has done by alienating their customers.
yes, because this constitutes as a fail, amirite?
Warning: Spoilers inside!
Well I guess the fact that the PS Vita is region-free doesn't matter now that you're limited to one PSN account. Oh well.
How so? You can at least import games, unlike the 3ds. Or do the opposite: make a foreign psn account, while buying hard copies from your country (which can be done to avoid paying for shipping, waiting time, etc). Or just deal with it and not download games at all. Anyways, you at least can play games from other countries. Whereas, you won't even be able to play foreign games on a region-locked system like the 3ds. Heck, nintendo doesn't even offer an online service to download 3ds games, so people gotta stop moaning so badly about this...
It is true though, that you'll have to pay for shipping (unless you do the opposite, mentioned above), but that doesn't null the fact that it's region-free. I'd be glad to hear more of your opinions as to why you think "it doesn't matter."
Makes sense, but you misunderstood what the thread is about.
Well i dont see this as a big issue either unless DLC is actually compatible with other regions. If it is, then i see this as a small issue.
