PS TV / PSVITA: a couple of questions

hi,

1) i have my PS TV with Andrenaline already installed byt i want to update it to the latest version. Unfortunately i don't remember how to do that... i have downloaded the .vpk file of the latest version, probably i have to use vitashell to install it..? But i don't remember how i can do that...have i to put the .vpk file in a specific folder on my USB key?

2) I have installed an application named .pkgi and it listed all the games supported for PSVITA. But i don't know if this app i still updated,,is it available a new and updated app in order to check the games list and download them directly into the console?

3) How can i do if i want to uninstall a PSVITA game already installed? And how can i delete files of a game only partially downloaded (i CANCEL the download process from PKGI application as i dediced to download a different game version, but i think that the files partially downloaded should be present in my USB)

4) if i want to install the file update with MaiDumpTool, where i have to put the .vpk file? Into the TITLEID_PATCH folder?

1. the vpk can be anywhere, just install through vita shell.
2. it's been a long time, but I think you can update the databases. it may do that automatically when you boot up pkgi, but it's now known by a fork called pkgj. don't know if pkgi is updated anymore.
3. it's possible the game installed to bgdl on ux0. bgdl stands for background downloader afaik. it won't look like a pkg though. I think you're good if you cancelled it. it should've deleted it.
4. a mai dump patch won't work with nonpdrm base game iirc.

1) is it necessary to put the .vpk file using the ftp connection or can i plug in the USB key in my pc and copy the .vpk file in a specific path?
2) it seems that at the beginning it updated the database, but i read time ago that it isn't updated probably...i will follow this guide: https://www.cfwaifu.com/pkgj/. I read that for PCH 1000 (OLED) it is necessary an original memory card to install it. Well, as i want to buy an OLED model, it will be necessary an original sony memory card only to install it, but when it is installed, i can use a normal microSD with the right adapter, am i right?

4) sorry, i haven't understood... Currently i don't have yet PKGJ so i have downloaded a gmae with PKGI. But i'm looging for its UPDATE and DLC in order to install them (with PKGJ i would be able to search and install them too directly). How can i install the DLC and UPDATE? I suppose with Mai DUMP: i have to put the dlc file in the DLC folder. But i don't know where i have to put the Update file...

1. you can use either. I think it's select to change between them in vita shell.
2. not sure on that one, I think the databases are updated when you boot up, at least pkgj.
4. dlc goes in the addcont folder (probably stands for add content). refresh the livearea in vita shell or just download with pkgj updates and dlc after manually inserting or downloading them to make them work.

1) due to update adrenaline, i read here: https://github.com/TheOfficialFloW/Adrenaline that i have to "open Adrenaline.vpk as zip file and copy all modules from sce_module to ux0:app/PSPEMUCFW/sce_module.". But what does it means? I only have a .vpk file of the latest version...

2) I have installed PKGJ. But when i push REFRESH in order to download the list, it appears this error: "can't get list: HttpError: sceHttpGetResponseContentLenght failed: 0x80431072" . Googoling i found i have to modifiy in this way a text: "http://nopaystation.com/tsv/PSV_GAMES.tsv in the config.txt file. But i don't find this file anywhere...it isn't present in my pkgi folder... there are 2 folder now: one with the PKGI installation and another one with PKGJ installation:

which is the folder where i have to put DLC? In any case, i supopose that with PKGJ it will automatically download and install the UPDATE and DLC so i don't need anything else, right?

2. nopaystation
3. the addcont folders are messed up. it's just called addcont. mai addcont files go in a dlc folder in app/title id iirc. not sure what addcont mai and plain are for.

btw, mai dump tool will destroy your dlc. this happened to me, so I pirated the dlc I owned, then more for the trouble. haha.

1) done, i copied the files as suggested in the guide, but i still have the old version of Adrenaline... the 6.61 V6
It isn't updated to the latest one...i refreshed the app and turned off the console, but i still have the old version...it is really strange!
2) unfortunately i don't have nopaystation folder...

In order to update Adrenaline, I could install it again, without the update. I mean i could do a fresh installation.
Here https://github.com/TheOfficialFloW/Adrenaline they say that i have to delete the bubble, then delete the ux0:app/PSPEMUCFW/sce_module/adrenaline_kernel.skprx path from the taiHEN config.txt. But i don't know where is the config.txt file...

the config file is either in ux0/tai or ur0/tai. it won't matter if you delete the line in there though.

1) Adrenaline: i deleted the bubble and the string in the config.txt file. I have installed the new version but when i run it, it appears this:

You need the 6.61 psp update in that location named accordingly.

Done! Adrenaline updated!
And i found in the pkgi folder there is its specific config.txt file, this one:

Now i only need to update VitaShell and Henkaku as i don't have the latest firmware. My Vitashell is 1.81, and my Henkaku firmware at 3.60.

First i have to update Henkaku fro 3.60 to 3.65
