What is a Proximity ?

In this casw, meaning youd only be hearing or speaking to players close to you within the game.

people sadly DO want said feature because they'd rather have a tech conglomerate do the thinking and executing actions for them, than them having to use their own pea-sized brains to just self regulate instead.

No you have the brainlet take. We can't ever have open mic lobbies in games anymore because soft people would get triggered at naughty words. It was just fine for decades on PC to have this. Not anymore.

If you don't like what someone is saying then just fucking block them. Any voice chat enabled program gave you that option. Problem solved you'll never hear them again. But like that original poster you replied to said, that's too hard for some people. They won't self regulate so they rely on big tech corpos to censor everything and water everything down. Now it's lead to A.I listening to everything you say ready to kick and ban you if it perceives you uttered any of the giant list of wrong speak it's been given.
