Proof that game companies bail due to piracy?

    Everybody says it, but I notice I've never seen any citations.
    I DO NOT WANT GUESSES AND I DO NOT WANT QUOTES OF GUESSES

    A direct quote from the entity in question explaining in plain english why they did something.

    NOT. GUESSES. Not even if it's a guess from some industry analyzer. That's still speculation.

    I want an actual admission from a game company or console developer that piracy makes the companies not want to develop for the system.

    Perhaps from the dreamcast era?

    Also, I'm talking piracy, not counterfeit goods.
