I became curious whether if we open a GameCube Controller (GCC) and a Switch Pro Controller (SPC), could we swap boards?
My aim is to turn an original wired GameCube Controller into a wireless Switch Pro Controller because Wavebird Controllers are sold out in most cases, don't look any good tbh and need an extra receiver.
My idea is to put the board from the SPC into a GCC and just connect the buttons to it.

What do you guys think? The SPC board doesn't seem to fit into the GCC housing. Might it be possible to find any solution to that? Maybe with 3rd party SPCs? I don't care for NFC and gyro features, I just wanna play MK8D with a wireless GCC.
I know that GCC can be used on the Switch.
