Hi everyone! for some reason my old thread didn't post. Anyways let's get started! Have you ever dreamed of having a actual Homebrew channel on your 3ds home menu? How about the ability to launch .3dsx and HANS short cuts from it. Well if we work hard we might be able to!

Introducing VelvetOS for less than 9.3 firmware! ( because i can't tell < from > i guess ) ​

VelvetOS will be a put a Modern look on to the 3DS

Features

• A new linking system VNID (Velvet Network ID) - What will this do you ask? It will allow you to keep your purchase and download them on to all of your system as well as you GameTime achievements
• GameTime - Nintendo doesn't like us being competitive so let's change that - Introducing game time the hub for you and your friends! Compare your points and see what games you have in common
• The Homebrew shop - A replacement of the eShop for downloading 3DSX homebrew directly to the home menu!
• Chatting - Me and @Tjessx Pictochat will come pre-installed as the default chatting app! However, You will be able to change it
• Dual Booting - Don't Like VelvetOS That is OKAY! Just change back in to the default one. On boot you will see two icons one will be for VelvetOS and one will be for the defualt
• Theme Shop - Me and some friends are working on something cool. Stay tuned
• Hans short cuts will show up on the home menu
• CIA INSTALLATION - Since you all want it so bad

Concerns

• Is this even possible on <9.2 firmware
• How would we make the VNID
• Will we allow piracy (probably not)

Like I said I don't even know if it is possible. However when testers are ready - if it is. I'll let you know.

Possibly. I am still unaware if this is possible. Even if it is i do not know if I will allow piracy...

Fixed. An isn't there a kernal exploit only for less then 9.3
