Homebrew Progress on Wii U format Hdd?

Hello I'm new here so please forgive me if I post this on the wrong place.

I'm wondering if there has been any progress on cracking the Wii U HDD Format.

Has there been any development on the Wii U's file system? Could there be a way to mount a Wii U formatted HDD to backup files directly to a PC without making a complete copy of the entire disk.

Even if it hasn't been done yet would it be theoretically possible to do this using disk keys dumped from a Wii U console?

Some people are already REing Wii U, but so far they seem to focus on hidden recovery option. [Which imo, we need anyways]
So, i guess some people are.

As I mentioned in the past, I already know how most of that file system works, and I started to write a tool to extract files from it. It isn't too hard now when I have all the needed knowledge, but I didn't work on it lately, so I don't know when I will complete it.

Modifying it is much more complex. It is possible but will require much more work....
