How do I set up WiiSX to read from USB HDD?
It sounds easy, but it doesn't work.
I thought the app went on my SD, and the Channel Forwarder in my wad folder on SD.
I thought the coinciding ISOs folder went on USB.
In the app, I choose load game, I choose usb, I get error opening directory "usb:/wiiSX/isos"
Does it not work this way? I have no clue.

I then thought about something else...

I know Homebrew Channel has to be added through SD card.
But once I do, can I set Homebrew Channel to read from USB? And place all apps and emulators on my USB, so that everything is run from there. Can I install Priiloader, d2x, IOS/cIOS, wads, all Emulators, Utilities from USB?

Would all of this need to be set in my Primary Partition where my GC Games are located? Second Fat32 Partition has my wbfs folder in it.

I have not tried it yet. Honestly, I have more questions. Just didn't want to bombard you with them.
I installed d2x, and IOS58, along with other required IOS and cIOS through my SD Card. We're you saying I need to reinstall them from my HDD? And the Homebrew Channel also? Or did you mean WiiSXR (Homebrew App)?

boot wiisxr from your sd card or usb and place your games on your usb in the isos folder and then your bios in the bios folder etc..
you can also boot wiisxr from your usb if you wanted to but you want it from your sd card so just stick with that and it will work

Its not that I am trying to stick with the SD Card. I would gladly move everything over to the HDD. One of the problems is I had it like you say, WiiSXR Booting from SD, but it cant find its coinciding folder on USB. It keeps popping up with an ERROR finding directory USB://wiisxr/isos.
Second problem is my 1st partition is almost maxed out (250GB). And the second has about 400GB of wbfs games on it. Its a 2TB Drive. I just dont have anywhere to put these other things so I can restructure the size of each partition, to make the HDD capable of handling the rest of this load.
Do you know if I can Expand or Shrink a partition with files currently on it, without having to remove them?

No problem. I think I do understand what you are saying. And as soon as I figure out how to shuffle what I've got going on on my HDD I will let you know. Thank you for the response.

you don't need any cIOS for emulators.

look at the help section for installation :
http://wiki.gbatemp.net/wiki/WiiSX_compatibility_list_(beta_2)
be sure you really need to use "wiisxr" folder names, and not "wiisx".
if it looks for folder wiisxr, then name your folder that way.

but use the WiiSXR he provided.
or better, don't use direct links and always check if there's not a new release.
then, use this list for compatibility:
https://wiki.gbatemp.net/wiki/WiiSXR

and instead of posting that it's in the wrong section, just report the thread so a moderator can move it.
I did it, moved to Wii homebrew.
