Hello alltogether.
I've installed a RP2040 modchip into my switch lite, but that seemed to cause some problems..
So everything I did:
- Soldered the RP2040 into the switch lite with the two provided ribbon cables.
- Had problems with the second ribbon cable (Not the cpu one), because it seemed to be manufactured poorly.
- The switch turned on and showed the no sd card message from the modchip. But after restarting it just showed a blue screen and no mod chip anymore.
- I've uninstalled the modchip and still got a blue screen - I assume it corrupted the emmc..
- I then checked the second ribbon cable and it had connection issues.
- So i just used wires to replace the second ribbon cable and now the modchip boots again and shows no sd card.
So now im trying to get hekate to boot, because i want to try to get my prodkeys etc. and fix the seemingly corrupted emmc.
But when I put hekate on my sd card and try to boot I just get a red screen with a lot of artifacts..
Do you guys maybe have an idea why hekate is not booting?
The switch lite was on firmware 19.0.0 and I've used the most recent hekate build with 19.0.0 support.
Well I‘ve had a look around the board, especially around where I loosened the APU heat shield, if I can find damage that maybe causes my strange problems.
And it looks like i broke of an edge of the max chip under the APU.
Could this be the cause why hekate doesnt boot and only shows artifacts? And why the Switch shows a BSOD when trying to boot OFW? I think that would be weird, because the no sd card screen works, but who knows. Maybe the no sd card screen doesnt use all the hardware…
