Hacking Problem

So I got a cyclods evo and hearing that it has the same save type as the R4, I put my old micro sd and hoped it would work. But now whenever I pick a game, it just hangs on the loading screen. When I delete my R4 save, it works. Is there a way to use my R4 saves on my ClycloDS?

when I try to convert, it says that the source and output files are the same type.

I'm not sure what your problem is since I switched from an R4 to an Evolution and all my saves work fine. Perhaps they have been corrupted somehow?
