Hardware Problem with wii mote on wii u

Hi so when I swap from the wii u system menu to the wii system menu my with the wii mote it cuts out and won't come back on unless I take out a battery and put it back in again ,it's a new wii mite so any ideas anyone thanks

Ur probly using a 3rd party controller, they tend to do that.
