Hi. So, I just recently started trying to give life to my old DSI XL which has the latest firmware which is 1.4.5 U. I followed the steps from this youtube video
But, when I followed up to the part after installing Unlaunched on my DSI XL, this happened. 74285449_853238855086493_430221318499695344_n.jpg

There was nothing wrong with my SD Card even before. No virus or bugs in it. What should I do to fix this?

    Hello.:)

    Welcome to the DSi Section.:)

    Your SD Card is

    - a regular SD Card (not microSD with Adapter) ?
    - formatted with FAT32 ?
    - maybe not bigger than 64 GB or not smaller then 2 GB ?
    - Write Protection Switch ?

    Thank you.:)

    - My SD card is a microSD with Adapter.
    - The SD card is already formatted to FAT32
    - Lastly, my SD Cars is only a 32gb micro sd card.

Is there any problem with the SD Card itself?

    Thank you.:)

    Maybe with the microSD Adapter.:(
Can you try a normal SD Card please ?
You can simply copy the Content from the microSD Card over.:)

    Thank you.:)

Also, please don't follow video guides. They are harder to maintain and as a result get frequently outdated.
They also generally neglect important steps for "easier user accessibility"

For the next time you modify your Nintendo DSi, please use https://dsi.cfw.guide instead

I've had the same issues. I even followed the dsi custom firmware guide linked to in this thread. Tried multiple SD cards, tried formatting them using every method possible, nothing worked. This is why I won't mess with unlaunch anymore. I just use the memory pit exploit and that's it.

Remove the sd card, hold A+B and power on the device. If you get to the menu now, your sd card is the problem.
If it is the sd card and you have a lot of nds files on the card, try it again without the nds files (not sure if it is still the case but unlaunch scanned the whole card for nds files). If this also doesn't help try to rewrite the partition table, partition and format it to fat32.

Edit: it is beyond my understanding why the guy in the video has a hiya folder on the sdcard when selecting twlightmenu as default boot option.
