Hacking Problem with my R4DS

I'm having a couple problems with my R4. Its freezing whenever im playing Metroid Prime Hunters and Mario Kart. Metroid usually freezes when im coming back from closing my DSlite and playing for a little bit after that.. Mario Kart doesnt freeze as often. Also, sometimes the DS doesnt recognize that the cartridge is in side. Is this an R4 problem? or a microSD problem? im using a SanDisk 2GB microSD card.

I use SanDisk 2GB MicroSD Card too , and no problems so far , Try re-formating your microSD .. before doing that backup your whole R4 , And re-put the frimware version .12

Are you using that latest firmware? (1.12)
Did you trim the roms? (Use TokyoTrimmer in future found in the R4 section)
Could be a bad rom dump, download from a different source
If the rom is trimmed, find the untrimmed version and try that

Sounds like a MicroSD problem.

Try reformatting your MicroSD.

actually it doesn't sound like it's a problem with the microSD at all. it sounds like your NDS is losing contact with R4DS pins. happend to me a couple times.. i just squeezed around the edges of the r4ds casing to make sure it was closed tightly and flush together. haven't had any problems since.

1.12 is buggy, keep to 1.11. And re-format and all that.

1.12 is better for me in my case, i get less slowdowns in Call of Duty 4 and Tony Hawks Proving Ground. How is it buggy in your case?
