Hacking problem with multiplayer

hi guys well i'm having a rare problem with my r4.. the thing is that when i try to play a game in multiplayer i can't host a game becase none of the players detect my ds and when i try to join a hosted game i can´t because i can't detect any other player.

i tought i was having problems with the ds but i try download play in the ds menu and in that way it works but whith the r4 its imposible

i hope you can help me...
