    Hi,

I have got 2 USB harddrives, Both Seagate FreeAgent Go drives
    HD1 : 320GB, 2 partitions (NTSF+WBFS) :
no problems loading games with the latest WiiFlow and CFG loader.

    GD2: 880GB, 2 partitions (NTSF+WBFS) :
WiiFlow does display the gamecovers but when i want to load a game it hangs on "Please wait.."
CFG loader 0.58a does display but hangs on "Loading game".."
CFG Loader 1.5 (old one) doe load some games (but it gives me a green screen with SMG2), with "ios = 223-mload" in the config.txt

I installed cIOS249 rev20 and Hermes and these IOS:

Clearly you haven't installed rev20 as your sign check says you have rev19. Your IOS 222 and 223 are extrememly outdated as well (v2) which probably explains why it hangs. Follow the instructions here for IOS249 and here for IOS222/223 and then see if Cfg v58a is working for you.

Allready installed rev20b using these settings:
    Use IOS249 during install
    Base IOS = IOS57 V5918 (wad install)

I have downloaded the Hermes V4 package from here.
Have to use offline installer because I only own a LAN usb adapter.

    Trucha IOS = 249
    Install CIOS 222 = IOS 38

Downloading part 1/15 (OK) from SD : hash BAD

    and then the installer reboots...
    What now?!

You also asked it in another thread! The answer is: Install cIOS249 v17 or lower!

    Ok.this is what i did:
    1.installed cios249 rev19
    2.installed hermes cios v4 (222 and 223)
    3.installed cios249 rev20b

    All with success!

BUT i still can not load games from my 880gb...
Both wiiflow and cfg loader show the games but wint load..(please wait / loading)
THE only way i can load games is when i use an old version of cfg with ios-223mload in the config.txt
    ??

    Anyone?

No, I always used base 57 [IMG] and I never had the idea to use another base, because i thought it's a cIOS problem...
I think that's the simple solution, I will try it, thanks [IMG]

    ok.
i tried the latest cfg loader v57.
at startup it says "ios249 [FRAG]" and "223-mload"
when i load a game using the 223-mload, it works! (tested with avatar, nsmb, galaxy1) but when when i choose ios249, the games wont load and cfg loader only gives me the FRAG message and hangs...
what can be wrong here and how can i fix this?
    thank you

Can you also start cfg-loader with 222-mload? This problem sounds like that only Hermes IOS will detect your HDD.

Then your new hard drive is not compatible with IOS249, only with hermes IOS. You can use the 222-mload version of configurable usb loader.

I would back my games up on a different harddrive, then reformat this harddrive to a fat32. an would not format to wbfs. IMO, hd formated to wbfs is dead. fat32 is a lot better load time. less dumps,an is more compatible with all the loaders, then if you deside to run *neek, your set. an install the newer d2x's(249/57,250/56). grab the beta wiiflow r 155, an put this on 250/56. this is how mine is set up. doesn't hurt to try. so far you've done every thing but this.
