ROM Hack problem whit homebrew TREASURES OF GAIA

THE TITLE SAYS ALL
I NEED HELP FOR THE HOMEBREW FOR NINTENDO DS CALLED:
"TREASURES OF GAIA"
IS A GOOGLE EARTH FOR THE DS.
WHEN I RUN THE HOMEBREW IN MY R4 THEY APPEARS A DIALOG THAN SAYS:
"please ensure that the file tog-sites.dat is at the root of your linker"

WHAT IS SUPOSE I NEED TO MAKE THIS WORKS PERFECTLY?

Well, do as it says, put 'tog-sites.dat' on the root of your microSD.

I noticed it didn't work years ago.

To expand on what Pliskron said google changed the APIs and we have no source and the developer is AWOL the app is effectively dead.

DSMaps might work http://dsmaps.wordpress.com/about/ but it too has not seen any updates in some time. Even then it was not quite as full featured as treasures of gaia.

THOSE HOMEBREWS DOEN'T WORK IN MY R4
EVEN THE DSMAPS!!!!
IN THE DS MAPS THE TOP SCREEN APPEARS WITH A GRAY SCREEN.
AND THE TREASURES OF GAIA RUNS... BUT WENT I WANT MAKE ZOOM THE HOMEBREW STOPS.
PLEASE HELP WITH THE DS MAPS OR THE TREASURES OF GAIA

As mentioned treasures of gaia will not work at all- google changed how it runs things so beyond the initial world map it can not run as it can not get any data.

DSMaps I suspect has fallen into the same trap.

Neither has source available and trying to hack in updates to a high level API is not going to be fun so nobody is going to do it.
