Hacking Problem running Cannon Fodder DS homebrew on R4i Gold 3DS

Has anybody got this game to work on their R4i Gold 3DS?


My details...
HW:R4i Gold 3DSb
Board: Revision C
Sys:NDSi 1.45&3DS5.1.0-11
Memory cards: SanDisk 1GB MicroSD, SanDisk 4GB MicroSDHC.
Format: Panasonic SD Formatter (erase = on, size adjust = on)

I have a DSi XL, 3DS XL, original DS.

I have tried launching the game from Wood R4, Wood R4 CK3 .NDS file, HBMenu and MoonShell. They all result in the same problem: both screens are black and the game does not start. I have tried manual DLDI patch (to M3 DS Simply/R4 DS) but results were the same.

Interestingly the same game, on the same memory card, works fine with my old Acekard 2i running AKAIO on original phat DS. Newer consoles cannot run my Acekard, due to firmware updates.

All other DS homebrew I have tried works fine on my R4i Gold 3DS on all my consoles.

I bought the R4i Gold 3DS as it was supposed to have the best compatibility.

Has anybody got this game to work on their R4i Gold 3DS?

All games just get the same result?

All other DS homebrew I have tried works fine on my R4i Gold 3DS.

The issue is specific to Cannon Fodder DS in my experience.

And Cannon Fodder DS works find on my old Acekard 2i

Did you try reformatting, then re-downloading and installing it again?

Yes, I did. With two different memory cards and two different DSes.

I can use the memory card as it is configured in another flash cart and Cannon Fodder DS works.

What setup are you using to run it?

Recently bought an old DS lite to play this, works fine with my old Acekard 2i and old R4 Revolution for DS.
But not thew new R4i Golf 3DS.

All with latest Wood kernel.
