Problem in 3.3V instinct always flashing red

Hi everyone,

I've been using a Nintendo Switch OLED with Instinct for 5 months without any issues, but today it stopped working. It only powers on in OFW and constantly blinks red, even when the console is turned off.

I tried replacing the chip with a Picofly. When I connect it, even with the console off, the chip lights up blue, then flashes yellow twice. When I power it on, it starts in OFW. I've taken some measurements and got the following values:

**Diode mode, black probe to ground:**

- 3v3: 0.868
- D: 0.710
- A: 0.708
- C: 0.713
- B: 1.300

**Diode mode, red probe to ground:**

- 3v3: 0.100
- D: 0.462
- A: 0.486
- C: 0.470
- B: 0.432
- CPU: 0.2

Does anyone have any help or suggestions?
I suspect a short in 3.3v line beacause of I am getting low value with red probe to ground.

I believe the instinct has solder points that's surrounded by ground, that's been an issue. Something about a magnet needs to be placed in a particular spot... I've never installed or throughly read up on the instinct but I've briefly read some of the issues that clearly ended any further interests of mine.

mind showing pictures of your install? But straigt away, I've got to say I'm suspecting issues with your DAT0 adapter. The fact that this issue has shown up a few months after the install seems to suggest that the flex has moved and is touching something other than the DAT0 point.

I have updated the first message with images.

To try to narrow down the problem, I removed the DAT0 adapter, replaced the Instinct with a Picofly, and disconnected all the connections. I connected only the 3.3V and ground to the chip, leaving the rest disconnected. It does the same thing... As soon as I connect the battery, the chip starts as shown in the video, blue and then flashes yellow twice. In the case of the Instinct, it flashes red. If I press the power button, it starts directly in stock mode. But even with the console turned off, the chip keeps blinking permanently...

I just checked that if I don't connect the CPU flex to the chip, the error doesn't occur. I changed the flex for another one, but it remains the same. The moment I connect the battery with the CPU flex connected, the chip starts trying to glitch even if I don't press the power button. If I don't connect the flex, the chip only tries to glitch when I press the power button.

You have a Dat0 issue , even if your C point shows 700/800. As an installer i can assure you it happens from time to time. i replace the Dat0 and your NX is good to go again.

I have removed the dat0 and make kamikaze method with the same result. I connect the processor flex, the cable from the 3.3V (I'm not connecting the other points, just individual cables), and then the battery connector. Immediately after this, the chip lights up blue and gives two yellow flashes.

The same thing happens if I only connect the 3.3V and RST to the chip.

When I press the power button, yes, the console turns on in OFW. But without pressing the power button, it's the chip that tries to glitch erroneously.

just wanted to be sure the console is ok , why dont to try using the chip flex instead of wire

Before of getting the error was functioning with the flex. In my opinion, the problem is with the 3,3v line. But I don’t know how can find the issue.
