Hi, I tried to burn an .iso but ran in problems. I used ABGX360 to create a .dvd file and tried to burn it with imgburn. Img burn gave me an error message saying

"There doesn't seem to be enough space on this disc to burn this image."
"Image size 4,267,015 sectors (8,334 MB)"
"Disc Size 4,173,824 Sectors (8,152 MB)"
"What would u like me to do?"
"Write until end of image"
"write until end of disc"

The disc I am using are verbatim dual layer, dvd+R DL, 8.5 gig. These were the biggest discs I could find so I was wondering if there is a trick to shrinking the file or is there something i have done incorrectly. Also should i burn the game until end of image or end of disc or will it fail no mater what option I pick?

You'll have to see if your burner is compatible with the Burner Max payload tool or get an hacked iHAS drive.

You can use the truncate/overburn method but you won't be able to install the disc and if you have a game with CIV checks then you're going to get flagged.

I have got an internal lite-on IHAS324 drive which can be hacked. Unfortunately I have only got a laptop and no base unit to put it in. Is there anyway of using x360usb pro 2 to connect it to my laptop? The red and green power cable will not fit as the IHAS324 drive uses sata power but I have another powers source for the drive.

I just connected it all but the laptop wouldn't detect the drive. It says on other sites that it is possible to burn through 360usbpro.

Not to doubt your competence or anything, but just double checking so there's no head-scratching later down the road: It IS an IHAS324 rev.B, right? Anything that is not rev B will not be able to be hacked.

Moving on, yes you can burn through the 360USB Pro, provided you can find a way to power the drive as well.

So i think i's a driver problem with x360usb. There is suppose to be 2 drivers needed but on my device manager only "Ports-Xecuter CK3i USB controller (com3)" is there and no "X360USB PRO 64" device. Also it's showing up as a HDD

It says in the guide to do manual update through device manager but theres nothing there to update. My update switch on the 360usb maybe set wrong. Do i need it on or off?

yeah the switch was in the wrong position. i switched it and it showed in device manager. I also noticed that the x360usb doesn't need a power source other than usb. Moving on to flashing the drive.

So i flashed the drive successfully and no longer get the size problem on imgburn. Now I'm getting series of errors like the 1 below when imgburn is verifying the disc after burning

Don't bother verifying with imgburn, verify it with kprobe instead.

Put the disk in, under settings make sure "Remove the spike" is ticked, "Test Range" should be automatic, speed set to whatever speed you burned with (probably 4x), Pi Sum should be 8 and PIF Sum should be 1.

Hit the "Play" (the triangle pointing to the right) button at the top after selecting your drive, let it scan, then post a screenshot of the results.

I'm trying to get it working now. Kprobe gave a message saying something like"results file is missing, would u lke to create now?" I hit yes and nothing happens. Is that what u need to see? This is what the screen looks like but i'm gonna try with another failed disc.

Hey test that same disk again with "remove the spike" checked. If it's unchecked it throws the results way off. If you got those results with it turned on you'd have a coaster, but since it isn't on you may have a good burn. Make sure you try it again with it checked, and post the results again.
