Hey there, i was having a problem with my nintendo, i could read channels, i was without Homebrew channel, and my wii was freezing when i was pressing Channels on Data Management.
I will recieve a 4.2E from Nintendo probably ,and i just want to play games trough a Hard Disc , with a USB loader.

What should the step guide i should follow? Should i downgrade my wii?

im confused, sorry to be asking this. [IMG]

Xzxero's simplistic mod guide in the stickies. Just skip the Updating section.

Yeah it was the first thing that i have done but im confused.

    he says this :

    "Deleting stub IOS's
    Run Any Title Deleter MOD
    Choose IOS36 & press A.
Go to System Titles & press A.
    Select IOS222 & press A to delete.
    Select IOS223 & press A to delete.
    Select IOS249 & press A to delete.
    Select IOS250 & press A to delete.
*If any IOS listed above is not there, check the other pages. If it's still not there, do not worry about it & move along with the guide.
** If it is not deleting, you did not patch IOS36 correctly. Go back."

What is this needed for? is safe to remove IOS? i have readed here , that it wasnt safe uninstall ios or something like that!

You want to remove those, as they are stubs. Nintendo just put those there to try and prevent people from installing a cIOS

it is because you could not install any cios on your wii as long as the 4.2 stub ios are on your wii.

    Don't worry.
I bricked a brand new 4.2 Wii two month's ago. Sent it back to Nintendo for repair.
To my suprise they sent me back a brand new Wii with 3.1E firmware.
I guess that's what they still have in stock at the repair centre.
I could even install Bootmii as boot2 on this new one.
