Good luck with those constitutional amendments. While you're at it, change the 1st and 2nd Amendments.
The alternative would be to vote based on who actually has motive to implement just policies instead of voting based on character and hoping you were right. There are A LOT more wealthy career-politician narcissists than you likely realize. The best way to not fall for it is to not trust them in the first place. What exactly is the alternative? Electing day traders and CEOs exclusively? That's a good way to guarantee that only the worst of the worst run your government. Even if there are those few individuals who can fake their way through decades of public service, they're a lot fewer and farther between. The benefits of having a Bernie Sanders-type politician in government are very real and tangible for his constituents, that's why they kept re-electing him.
The ACP was part of the infrastructure bill passed by Congress during COVID. The reason it ran out is because Republicans wouldn't agree to renew it via Congress. Biden cannot do anything about it.joe biden should tell those higher up BASATRDS to give us back our ACP benfit's for Internet for the lower class peeps like me.
And how exactly do you judge their "motive" without judging their character? The two are inextricably tied. The funny part being that Trump and his ilk can't even find it in themselves to lie about wanting to do the right thing, they just hope to gain enough support from the worst society has to offer instead. The alternative would be to vote based on who actually has motive to implement just policies instead of voting based on character and hoping you were right.
Sure, but it's easy enough to look into the basics of someone's history. Did they start out wealthy, and did they start out with a bunch of friends/family in positions of power? Or did they slowly work their way up from being the mayor's aide in some small town? It makes all the difference in the world. There a A LOT more wealthy career-politician narcissists than you likely realize.
From working at a McD's to pay off tuition fees, to being a prosecutor, to being an attorney general, to being a senator, to being a vice president, and finally becoming future President of the USA.Sure, but it's easy enough to look into the basics of someone's history. Humoring the idea, this is basically saying it's all about him and his gain for having a 2nd term, not about what he could do for the country.Or maybe the "people on his side" won't need to vote because he won't be running again anyway due to there being a two term limit?
That's what votes are for. If a politician doesn't offer what you want, don't vote for him. All politicians are motivated to keep the voters happy. This is why most countries don't have term limits. The prospect of another term keeps politicians in check. If you take that away you give them motive to cheat. And how exactly do you judge their "motive" without judging their character? That seems pretty much on brand for Trump, in my opinion.Humoring the idea, this is basically saying it's all about him and his gain for having a 2nd term, not about what he could do for the country.
