    Hey dudes.

After a bad, bad experience with a WiiKey clone that ended up frying the control mechanism on my Wii's DVD drive, I've decided that I'd much rather invest myself into an OpenWii chip – problem is, the Wiip2 isn't out and I have no idea how to program a control chip. I'd heard that some people will do the service of programming it for real cheap, but I have no idea where to find such a service.

    Any ideas?

Also, as a bonus, with the OpenWii firmware being upgradable by DVD now, does that mean that I'd technically never have to open the Wii to update it again?

    Thanks, guys!

I'll sell you one, I build the Atmega8 openWii chips, which are upgradeable via DVD-R with the latest version. Shoot me an email and I'll give you a good deal on one. chuck@modawii.com
