After dop-ios>hackmii>ninty 4.2 update, i have tons of problems now....

My homebrew channel is still there but somehow bootmii got uninstalled, preventing me from using cboot...

Now i wanna use hackmii to install but i have no vunerable IOS...

So i tried using DOP-IOS but ALWAYS got errors like "hash BAD" and after downloading i get "error 102 or 107? (forgot)

Now itry using Anytitle deleter to get rid of Stub IOS BUT i cant delete cause i also get errors (i think because IOS36 is not patched, but remeber i cant use DOP-IOS)

Then tried to uninstall IOS249 using IOS249.wad via Wad manger... But again, i get errors (102?) when i tried installing it, its say ok? but whatever..

Please i think i had depleted all sources.. How effed am i?

Use the new bannerbomb for 4.2 and use it to run the newest hackmii installer and install bootmii as boot2 and ios if possible and install the latest HBC.Then use cboot2 to load wadmanager to delete the stub 249.

Theres guides on this all over this forum do some searching.

No vulnerable IOS,
or
No vulnerable IOS that can be trusted?

Try DOP-IOS MOD
Use IOS249 or IOS250 to load the app.
Downgrade IOS36 to v1042, no patching.
Install BootMii - it will find IOS 36 to be vulnerable.

what did you do with DOP-IOS before updating ? Apparently, you patched all the IOS that HackMii installer could have used for Bootmii installation an are now stuck... which is weird is that the update should have removed this patch by updating the IOS again, did you have CIOScorp installed by any "chance" ?

It also seems IOS36 was not patched which prevents you from doing anything with this.

maybe a solution would be to use DOP-IOS-MOd which let you choose which cIOS to use and pick ISO250, if you still have it...

I would say, this is one of the reason you should NEVER patch all your IOS without really knowing what you are doing. Never follow blindly a guide, try to understand what it makes you do and if you don't understand, ask here before doing anything stupid.

@jazvd: There are already a few guides here that tell you what to do. Read them. And understand that DoP-IOS MOD is not exactly the same thing as DoP-IOS.

I know, DOP-IOS default used IOS249 (which i cant use)
MOD (the one im using) lets you choose what IOS to use...

BUT it still gives me errors...
cant someone tell me what theses errors are?

umm... you kind of need to tell US what the errors are for that

(your first post doesn't really give us a correct code so you need to write it down) Following the guides here, you should already be able to get around your problem. When all else fails, follow the guide that was meant for a virgin Wii.

OK, what did you have before you upgraded? Did you have cIOScorp? What did you do with DOP-IOS (MOD)?

Before updating to 4.2 i was on 4.1 with 3.4 cIOSCORP

so i dowgrading one of the IOS (sorry i forgot which one) to get a vunerable IOS..

But why would it matter? I though after doing the Ninty update, any previous messing with IOS will be gone...

not cIOScorp. As a "update resistance" measure, the latest version of cIOScorp maxes out all IOS version numbers. So none of them where overwritten. Which IOS did you downgrade? It should be OK...

Could you run signcheck and post the results? Or the contents of a HackMii Installer log?

All thos IOS on version ffff* or 65535? Thats maxed out versions. They are all cIOScorp. Try and get rid of them. I have realised however, that you are probably trying to get "backup" loaders to work, or else get WADs to install, either way, you're probably trying to pirate. I dont approve of piracy, so I'm not gonna help you anymore. Soz if that upsets you.

first off, your IOS61 is patched. Install it again using DoP-IOS MOD WITHOUT the patch. Then run the hackmii installer to uninstall then reinstall HBC.

If you have too much trouble, get the IOS61 with NUS, and use Wad MAnager 1.5 to try and uninstall it then reinstall it.

at least get that much done and we can move forward from there. I'm gonna be gone the rest of the day, so good luck!
